Hello! My name is Gordon, and I have been a test automation engineer for over 6 years, working everywhere from start-ups to large enterprise companies.

Prior to becoming an automation engineer, I was a manager in mortgage banking with up to 30 employees. I oversaw processes that required knowledge and adherence to federal and state regulations, e.g. individual state foreclosure guidelines and consumer protection laws. I had to make sure my teams made as few mistakes as possible. Implementing strong QA practices prevented us from being fined, sued, and publicly embarrassed as a financial institution.  I carried this philosophy of QA into my engineering career and always have that old Ford advertising slogan in the back of my mind: "Quality is Job 1".

Bruno is my assistant; he helps by making sure I take breaks from the computer to feed him or take him out for a walk...
